Shaoguan Mi Hong originates from the mountainous regions of northern Guangdong, China. Cultivated amidst the stunning Danxia landforms and persistent mountain mist, the mineral-rich soil and significant diurnal temperature variations provide the perfect environment for tea leaves to accumulate rich, aromatic compounds.

This tea is crafted from exceptional local cultivars (such as variations of the Renhua White Hair tea plant). These specific plants are extraordinarily high in amino acids and possess a natural sweetness, which serves as the genetic foundation for the tea's signature "honey" profile.

Shaoguan Mi Hong is celebrated for its pronounced honey aroma. The dry leaves are tightly rolled and dark. When steeped, it yields a brilliant, amber-red liquor. On the palate, it is exceptionally smooth and full-bodied, delivering a captivating blend of wild honey and subtle sweet potato notes, finishing with a lingering, sweet aftertaste.

[Orthodox Processing]

The production strictly adheres to traditional black tea craftsmanship. Freshly plucked leaves undergo careful withering to reduce moisture, followed by rigorous rolling to release essential oils. The most critical step, oxidation (fermentation), is masterfully controlled to transform polyphenols, culminating in a careful drying process that locks in the intoxicating honey fragrance.
